What is Permaculture?
Permaculture is a design approach based in science & guided by ethics that uses nature as a model for decision making.
Applying it towards how we design allows us to meet our human needs while preserving and enhancing our ecosystems.
permanent + culture + agriculture = permaculture.
Permaculture can be applied to designing anything from your yard to your business. It is most widely known for its application towards developing landscapes and farms that not only look beautiful and function, but over time reduce inputs and enhances ecological health.
Whether it be your front yard or your 100 acre farm, we utilize permaculture's approach to using natures patterns and rules as the guide for its development.
Are you interested in having a beautiful landscape that produces nutrient dense food while working with the natural systems in and around your yard?
I know I was 9 years ago when I first started to learn about it and went on to receive my Permaculture Designer Certificate (PDC) in short order.
Our Land Organics utilizes permaculture's values and its principles because of its proven results creating beautiful + resilient landscapes.
There are many great resources out there for learning more about permaculture. Here are some of books that I recommend for learning more.
